Made with intention.

A wardrobe designed to outlast the season — quiet pieces, considered cuts, made in small runs by people we know.

We build things slowly. We finish them properly. We don't release what we wouldn't wear.

Where we started

A different pace.

Calvenna started as a reaction against the way clothes were being made: faster, looser, louder. We wanted to build a small wardrobe of pieces that earn their place in your week — and stay there. The first collection was four pieces. Five years later we still launch in small drops, on our own schedule.

How we make it

Slow on purpose.

Every piece is patterned in our studio and finished in two family-run workshops we’ve worked with from day one — one in Porto, one in Bologna. We visit four times a year. Nothing leaves the factory floor until it’s been worn, washed, and worn again by someone on our team.

This is slower than it could be. We’re fine with that.

What it’s made from

Materials we can trace.

Cotton from certified European mills. Wool from a single shepherding cooperative in northern Spain. Linen woven within fifty kilometres of where the flax is grown. We name our suppliers because we trust them — and because you should be able to ask.

Principles

  1. 01

    Considered design

Every cut, seam, and finish is reviewed before a piece reaches you.

  2. 02

    Fair sourcing

Materials traced from origin and audited against our standards.

  3. 03

    Made to last

Tested wear cycles, repair-friendly construction, lifetime guidance.

  4. 04

    Quiet output

Small drops, no markdowns, no manufactured urgency.
